Description
In a time when interactions are so limited, exploring the forgotten is a sort of meditation on being alone. The way nature interacts with these abandoned places holds a sort of magicality and eeriness. This place, and places like it, are beautifully in communication with the land beneath and round them. Stumbling upon a place thats presence feels still, as if waiting for the return of its inhabitants, feels reminiscent of both the forgetting of a moment and the holding onto it too. This photograph is from an old abandoned captain's house. This piece is printed on premium luster paper, signed and dated. Each size print is available from an edition of 20. Larger sizes are available upon request. The title is a reference to the Tracy K Smith poem, *I Don't Miss It.*
