Akiva Uriel Bakst is an Illustration major and Business of Art and Design minor studying at Ringling College of Art and Design located in Sarasota, Florida. Akiva's illustrations are mainly done through digital software. However, he uses the fundamental essentials of traditional painting and applies it to his professional work. Taking inspiration from different artistic movements, Akiva uses his impressionistic intuition to give energy and mood to his pieces. This method helps his work gain a traditional quality while still being graphic by nature. Along with finishing up his studies at Ringling College, Akiva has been collaborating with a variety of breweries around the world to create new and exciting beer labels to their catalogs.
