Hey my name is Nikko and I am an artist from Oakland, CA and am currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. I create to help understand the nonsensical reality of our modern world, and to escape the anguish of hiding in my own head. If my paintings are hard to understand, try to let go of the natural desire to have a full understanding of something. In the day to day there is already so much to understanding, and I believe art can be a break, a breath of refreshing mountain air in the midst of a polluted world. If there is any meaning to this existence, it is to love, to learn, and to express yourself and leave behind what you can.
